HOW TO CREATE A SEAMLESS PHOTO BACKDROP

HOW TO CREATE A SEAMLESS PHOTO BACKDROP

One of my favorite things right now is finding new creative photography backdrops. Sweeps has my current fascination. Sweeps can be used to create seamless backdrops and you can use just about anything for a sweep. You can use rolls of paper, you can use fabric, you can use poster board. Skies the limit friends. :)

Rolls of paper are what I have been using as of late. I always have rolls of kraft paper which I thought would be perfect. Sweeps work perfectly to create seamless photo backdrops because you sweep the paper or fabric so their is no crease. Now, I just need to pick up a roll of white kraft paper and I'll be I'll be all set.

Using sweeps is so easy. You can use a photo set up or you can simple use a wall. For my photo set up I used my current photo backdrops and attached my kraft paper to the top and had it sweep down across the bottom. It's that easy. If you want to use a wall you simple need to tape your sweep or paper to your wall and then have it sweep to the floor.

As you can see above my kraft paper is attached to the top of my photo backdrop and then it sweeps across the bottom. You'll see that with a sweep their is not crease. ;) I can't wait until I get some white kraft paper for a seamless white photo backdrop. Have you used a sweep before? What is your favorite type of photo backdrop? xoxo. Samantha
