THE #1 THING TO STAY ON POINT DURING TRANSITION

TIPS TO STAY ON POINT DURING LIFE TRANSITION

This week marks our first official normal week since moving. These last few weeks have been a whirl wind and incredibly exhausting. We started our moving prep the weekend prior, minus packing any boxes, ha! Prior to moving we decided we needed to build a new desk, so the weekend before our move we started our build... woodworking is crazy hard work, but totally worth it. Tyler and I both do a lot of work from home so we knew we needed a solid work space once we settled in.

Tyler and I knew we would have a lot of moving parts during our transition; building furniture, having items delivered, working lots of different jobs, keeping prior social engagements, heading to the city for a work function... lots and lots of moving parts. Tyler and I also both dislike living in chaotic spaces, so even with all the things were were trying to accomplish we knew we would be working on getting our house in order as soon as possible.

OUR SECRET TO STAY ON POINT

Here's are secret guys, staying on point is going to mean something different to everyone. For us, staying on point during our transition was to stay focused on our move and grant grace in other areas of life. I knew that a lot of my work would be put on hold and I had to be okay with that. I took a good solid week of off work. I gave my current client a heads up about my move, let you guys know that I was moving and let grace cover the rest.

Grace upon grace is our secret. :) With the help of lots of friends we got everything moved and now that we're back to work all I want to do is lay on the couch, ha!

We still have plenty to do... we have a handful of different things to build and our living room is a complete mess. Our walls are empty and we have piles of stuff everywhere, ha! The one room that is in half way good condition is our bedroom. Thank goodness, right. ;) xoxo. Samantha
