Friday Favorite: New Life

Are you wondering what about this photo is my favorite? Or what the title means? Nearly all summer after the tornado my mom kept talking to me about the trees, I think my aunt even called them puddle trees. My mom then asked me to take some pictures of the trees. I didn’t think much about it and agreed, after she reminded me many, many times.

So one evening we went out driving and I took some pictures of the trees. And as I was taking pictures they became my favorite. After the tornado hit, the trees were stripped clean of their bark and now they are full of “new life.” I think they are beautiful full of new green leaves.
