You know what's great about camping? People. There aren't any iphones or ipads. There aren't any blogs to read or feeds to check, only people. Whether you are camping with one person or a group of people camping strips away every day distractions and provides an opportunity to do community. Uninterrupted community.

Camp life is so sweet. We unwind, we unplug, and we forget about whatever awaits us back home. We slow down, we take walks, we chat about life and we have moments of silence. We wake up with the sun, we cook over fire, we watch the stars, and we nestle into tents. We go on hikes, wave to other hikers, skip stones, play with dogs, and document memories. We share stories, find common ground and love one another. We gather fire wood, roast marshmallows, spend time with Jesus, and do church. Camp life is so sweet.
