A couple weeks ago Tyler and I went to Disneyland, totally on a whim and it was totally spontaneous. Tyler and I had just finished up a bunch of chores and were snacking on some food when some friends of ours texted us inviting us to Disneyland. It was late in the afternoon, but we were all in! Tyler and I took quick showers and we were on our way. Going to Disneyland was definitley a special thing for us, it's not something we do all the time and we were super excited about going on a spontaneous adventure.
Tyler and I have a deep appreciation for going on adventures, for being spontaneous, and for squeezing everything there is out of life. We had the most amazing time at Disney and the friends that we went with were so amazing at sharing with us lots of knowledge about the parks that we didn't know. If we would have said no to this adventure we would have missed out on so much.
5 REASONS TO BE SPONTANTEOUS
1.) YOU'LL MAKE AMAZING MEMORIES : Lots and lots of amazingmemories. With every adventure you say yes to, you say yes to making memories. Memories with friends, memories of new experiences, memories of fun!
2.) YOU'LL LEARN THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW : This was mine and Tyler's second time at Disney. The friends that we went with were welled versed in the parks and we leaned so much! We learned about different entrances into the parks. We leaned which rides to ride at different times, and they showed us some really amazing shops and attractions that we may have never found except for their guidance.
3.) YOU'LL BUILD AND STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS : The great thing about going on adventures especially with friends is that it's a great opportunity to build community and learn more about each other. No matter who you go on an adventure with you're spending really special time together.
4.) YOU'LL LEARN AND STRENGTHEN YOU'LL SKILLS : Every new adventure provides and opportunity to learn new skills and strengthen old ones. Nearly every adventure we go on we take our camera and with every adventure comes an opportunity to strengthen those skills, along with unseen new ones!
5.) YOU'LL LEARN NEW THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF : This one means so much to me. During our first trip to Disney I was really overwhelmed. It was during our first year in California and everything was overwhelming. During this second trip to Disney we learned that I had overcome a lot of those things that I found overwhelming. It was so exciting for me, it was so affirming in the healing I had been experiencing.
Even though Cars Land is in California Adventure, it's a must see, especially at night! Radiator Springs lights up and it's so beautiful! We had never been to Disney at night and it was SO cool! The first time we went to Disney I was super overwhelmed. This time I was able to take it all in, plus are friends were amazing tour guides!
Our trip to Disney was so lovely and magical! We wouldn't have been able to experience such a wonderful experience unless we were willing to say yes. Are you ready to say yes to spontaneous adventures? xo. Samantha
