WINTER WONDERLAND

WINTER WONDERLAND

Snow finally fell in our neck of the woods and I couldn't be more excited. We hadn't had any snow at all this winter and that's just not okay. You can't have cold weather without snow, it just doesn't make any sense. ;) We knew the storm was coming so I stocked the cabinets with lots of good food and we settled in for a snowy weekend. The snow fell all day a few Saturdays ago and left us with about a foot of snow. It was so beautiful to watch the snow fall.

We even ventured out into the snow storm for a snow walk. It was well worth it even with my face being pelted with snow, haha! I was reminded that I didn't actually have a good snow coat, so I bundled up in a bunch of Tyler's outerwear. From behind Tyler said I looked like a boy, haha! I say I looked like a boy all around, ha! We walked around our neighborhood, made snow angels, and took in the quiet beauty of the snow.

The following day the clouds cleared and it was nice and bright out and everything was covered in snow. It just seemed fitting to get outside and take some snow photos. It reminded me of last year when we had our first snow upon our arrival. Maybe we'll make a tradition of taking snowy style photos whenever the snow falls. I sure hope so. :)

Snow is one of my favorite things. It's so beautiful and everything slows down when the snow falls. Every times I see the earth covered in snow it reminds me of the sweet graces of Jesus. He covers us, makes us whole, and washes us white as snow. Have you had snow this winter? What are you favorite things to do when the snow falls? xoxo. Samantha
